A quick note on good service along NLEX
On April 5, 2026, we were on our way back to the city from the north when one of our tires went flat along NLEX.
We pulled over, turned on our hazard lights, and called customer service. After more than 30 minutes, assistance had not arrived.
Two patrol officers noticed us and pulled over to check.
After assessing the situation, they chose not to change the tire to avoid risking damage to a newer vehicle. Instead, they arranged a tow truck and explained that it was part of NLEX’s service, with no charge.
They stayed with us while we waited. They were already on their way home, but remained on site for about 30 minutes until the tow truck arrived and we were safely assisted.
Calm, no fuss, did their job properly.
Thank you to Patrol Officer Gatdula AC and Patrol Officer Matic R.E.
